If you are travelling from a country listed above No quarantine is needed (unless your test results are positive or asked to do so by the NHS). However, Covid tests will be required before and after travel. What if my country is not on Scotland's Green List? The current list will change as the government monitors the situation. If not in the green list, your country will be either in the Amber list or Red list. Unfortunately, in both cases guests from Amber or Red list are not allowed to travel for leisure/holiday reasons. Green: Arrivals will need to take a pre-departure test as well as a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test on or before day two of their arrival back into the UK – but will not need to quarantine on return (unless they receive a positive result) or take any additional tests Amber: On the government website it is stated the following "You should not travel to a country or area on the amber list for holidays or for any other leisure purpose". For those allowed to travel, on arrivals will need to quarantine for a period of 10 days and take a pre-departure test, as well as a PCR test on day two and day eight. There will be the option to take an additional test on day five to end self-isolation early. Red: The Scottish Government states "If you have been in a country or area on the red list at any point in the 10 days before arriving in Scotland, you will only be allowed to enter the UK if you are a British or Irish National, or you have the right to remain in the UK. You should not travel to red list countries or areas on holiday, or for any leisure purposes. On arrival in Scotland, you must quarantine in the hotel you’ve booked for 10 days." What if the country I am travelling from is on Scotland's Green List?

If you are travelling from a country listed above

No quarantine is needed (unless your test results are positive or asked to do so by the NHS).
