Pheasant Cottage is a charming period property nestled in the heart of Perthshire.
Pheasant Cottage was built in 1860 and is set in the Perthshire countryside near to the picturesque village of Dunkeld. You cannot fail to notice the outstanding natural beauty that is all around. Our holiday cottage is the perfect place to get away from it all. Relax, unwind and enjoy everything that this little corner of Scotland has to offer.
The cottage is a 3 bed and sleeps 6 people comfortably. The main large bathroom contains a deluxe bath and shower with decorative limestone tile flooring. The master bedroom offers a king size bed, french doors leading to an outside patio with uninterrupted views over the surrounding landscape, and an ensuite with walk in shower. The cottage is beautifully decorated with style and comfort in mind.
The cottage includes:
- A very spacious living room, dining room and kitchen area
- The kitchen/living area includes a handmade shaker kitchen, range oven, log burning stove and beautiful modern oak dining table
- A boot room for muddy wellingtons, fishing rods and wet coats
- The cottage offers WiFi and a Smart TV
- Last, but not least, the cottage provides the most beautiful views from every angle, and a garden that overlooks the Perthshire countryside
Well behaved dogs are welcome.
Interior layout Front porch/boot room, with hanging space for coats and wellies, and bench seating. This opens onto large open plan living/dining/kitchen area, which includes wood burner, kitchen with vaulted ceiling and island and dining area seating 10, all with open views of the countryside. To the left of this open plan space is a hall which leads off to the three bedrooms, and family bathroom.
Exterior Pheasant Cottage is a stone built, traditional, Scottish cottage which has been lovingly restored and renovated, to combine the best of the original features with modern day comforts.
To the rear of the cottage is a courtyard, which includes a seating area, and looks onto the garden. This opens out to interrupted views of the Kinnaird Estate and surrounding countryside.
Accessibility statement The property is all on one level, and therefore could be suitable for wheelchairs. Doors are standard width, there is a walk in shower in the Master En-suite, but this does not include handrails. There is one step up to the front door, and one step out from the back door.
