Pitmeadow Farm is situated in a quiet countryside with lovely view. We are a small family run farm with pigs, ponies, sheep and chickens.
The Steading has a 3 - 4 night minimum stay depending on time of year.
The self catering accommodation is comfortable, warm and has fully equipped kitchens, there are games, books and DVD's for guests to enjoy.
We also have a shared Games room which is located in the courtyard, it has a table tennis table, football table and some other games. There is also jams, chutneys and Pitmeadow meat for sale which can be found in the Games Room.

The Steading has a large open plan kitchen, with dining room table and a settee.
There is a separate large living room with 3 settees, TV and open fire.
We have a shared utility/boot room which is used by guests in The Steading, Studio and by ourselves. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer for occasional guest use. It is also a useful area to dry off wet clothes and muddy dogs.
Pitmeadow Farm is made up of The Steading, The Studio, The Farmhouse and a Garden room (used for small events), all built round a courtyard.
There is plenty parking.
There is a large garden with a trampoline and football goals for guest use.
There is also a large deep pond, where you can enjoy sitting looking at the wildlife and walking round. Please note children must be supervised when in the garden.
There are 3 large ensuite double bedrooms upstairs.
2 rooms can be set up with twin or double beds.
1 Bedroom has a pull out single bed if required
All 3 bedrooms have their own shower & toilet.
Check-in from 15:00.
You will be asked to check-out before 10:00.

We’ve just spent a wonderful week at Pit Meadow Farm and what an absolute delight it was from start to finish. Ewan and Fiona are incredibly friendly and welcoming hosts who have truly thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and relaxing.
The farm itself is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly maintained. The accommodation is spotless, cosy, and very well equipped — it really feels like a home away from home. You can tell a lot of care and attention has gone into every detail.
The surrounding local area is equally stunning, with plenty to see and enjoy whether you’re looking for scenic walks, quiet countryside views, or places to explore nearby.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pit Meadow Farm and would absolutely love to return in the future. A perfect countryside getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay at Pitmeadow farm. The steading was spotlessly clean, well equipped with homely touches and incredibly spacious and comfortable. The farm is such a peaceful location, it was a joy to spend a few days there and there is so much to do - we really enjoyed seeing all the animals and the games room was great.

We had a lovely stay in this wonderful house. It is spacious, warm and nicely decorated. Beds are very comfortable. Fiona and Ewan have thought of everything to make guests feel very welcome. Who could resist warm freshly baked bread and homemade cake (thank you)! We didnt venture out much because of the weather but it is in a great situation for seeing some of the most beautiful parts of Scotland. I would definitely come back. Thank you😊

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Fiona and Ewan’s farm. The space was incredibly comfortable: the beds were amazing cozy. Fiona and Ewan were both so warm and welcoming, and the farm animals made the whole experience even more special.
My friends and I truly enjoyed our days here, and we’d love to come back and stay for a longer period next time. Highly recommended! 🌿🏡✨

Fiona was an amazing host. She showed us around the farm and allowed our children to help out and feed the animals. Her dog Tay, was such a treat for the children. During our stay, Storm Amy, caused a blackout and water supply issues. She went above and beyond to provide clean water, lighting and reassurance. The house was clean, spacious and well equipped. Kids books were a plus.

The farmhouse was exacty what we were expecting - mix of modern and rustic. All the rooms were spacious for our family of 6 adults. Fiona & Ewan were amazing hosts, we felt right at home throughout our stay, educating us about the animals and allow us to interact with them, and everyone fell in love with Tay. Thank you for everything!

We had a brilliant family holiday at Pitmeadow Farm staying in The Steading. Fiona and Ewan were very helpful and couldn’t do enough to make the holiday an amazing experience for our 8 year old daughter. Fiona gave our daughter lots of farming jobs for her to do which she loved. The house and the surroundings were amazing and really peaceful. None of us wanted to leave and we would love to return at some point.
