Crieff, United Kingdom
View location mapBy Car
Crieff sits on the A85 between Perth and Crianlarich. The town is also easily reached from the A9 via the A822 from Stirling/Greenloaning.
If driving from e.g. Glasgow or Edinburgh, use motorways/A‑roads to reach A85/A822 and follow signposts to Crieff. Once in Crieff, the PH7 4AS postcode and Heathcote Road should get you close.
By Train & Bus or Transfer
Because Crieff doesn’t have its own railway station, the usual route is: take a train to a nearby station. The closest major ones are Perth railway station or Dunblane railway station. From there, take a local bus to Crieff. Bus services labelled 15 or 15A go to Crieff. The bus will drop you in central Crieff (Hill Street / main bus stops), then a short local taxi or walk to Heathcote Road & the property. For example: a common route is train → Perth, then bus 15 → Crieff.
By Bus or Coach
There are buses serving Crieff from nearby larger towns, including services from Perth and Stirling. Once in Crieff, local transport or walking/taxi works to reach Heathcote Road depending on luggage/time. Public‑transport access works, but requires at least one transfer (train → bus), so not as direct as a drive.
From Airports (Edinburgh / Glasgow) + Long‑Distance Travel
Nearest airports:
Edinburgh Airport then onward by car (approx. 1h drive depending on traffic) or by public transport (train + bus) to Crieff.
Glasgow Airport via train/coach to Perth or another hub, then bus to Crieff.
Typical public‑transport route from airports to Crieff: e.g. from Glasgow Airport take the bus to Glasgow city, then train to Perth, then bus 15 to Crieff. This journey takes approximately 3 hours.
Because public‑transport involves multiple legs and possibly long waits, for convenience (especially with luggage) many guests prefer car hire or taxi transfer from airport/station to Crieff.
Under-Church secure parking space for 1 vehicle, with additional parking available on the street where the Church Tower is located.
The property was gorgeous, all very tasteful and very comfortable.
Emelia met us with the keys and showed us the car parking. One lovely surprise was a breakfast hamper with fresh bread, cake, butter, marmalade and fresh orange juice. Delicious.
the view from the balcony and Bell tower was amazing
