The apartment is absolutely beautiful, everyone including my 2 yo felt in love with the apartment and the view of the castle. The apartment matches the description and even more. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare every meal and the location is perfect to explore everywhere in the city. The only thing needs to pay attention is the stairs to the apartment if your group has elderly and kids.

We absolutely loved this perfect apartment! After a week of traveling through Scotland, it was nice to be able to put down roots for a few nights and explore Edinburgh. The four of us are in our seventies, but we are very active and were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Groceries, pubs, and restaurants were all nearby. The management team made everything so easy for us. For Americans, there are a couple of things to be aware of. The beds in the two larger bedrooms are queens instead of kings, however, that wasn't a problem for us. Also, the UK second floor is the American third floor. There are two flights of stairs. They are carpeted, but they spiral up. Large suitcases might be a challenge for people our age. Again, it wasn't a problem for us as we had small ones.We enthusiastically recommend this beautiful apartment.

This apartment was exactly as listed and suited us perfectly for our week in Edinburgh. It is well-appointed throughout with a stately flair. Comfortable, high quality furniture, great lighting overhead and accent lamps, beautiful wallpaper, artwork and other design features make this place special. One note: you have to walk up two flights of stairs and there is no lift; this was not an issue for our family (my husband was in charge of hauling the suitcases up), but could be a challenge for some. Edinburgh Castle is on view through the living room windows and a short 5-10 minute walk to the top of the Royal Mile, as is Grassmarket. There is a Sainsbury local grocery store two blocks away in both directions, and many restaurants and pubs within an easy walk.

We loved our time Edinburgh. The apartment was beautiful with stunning views of the castle and great space on both the bedrooms and common spaces. The apartment was clean and well taken care of. Basic supplies were provided. The location was perfect for walking to locations in both old and new towns. It was a perfect space for our group traveling with family ages 83-11.

Most beautiful spot in Edinburgh. We loved being able to look out at the castle all day. Very spacious with a kitchen with all the amenities you’ll need. We were happy to have 3 bathrooms which included two en-suites. The location can’t be beat. It’s walking distance to the castle, and many, many restaurants and attractions. This apartment is so gorgeous. I hope we can come back again!

Location was perfect, NCP car park very close, excellent communication and smooth entry. Property was quite simply, fantastic. Spacious, quiet and clean, everything we needed was supplied, recently re-decorated made an already impressive property, absolutely stunning. Three couples, no complaints at all. This place was perfect for walking around Old Town and New Town. We could easily walk to all the places that we wanted to see and all the restaurants, bars, and clubs. Right across the street from the Castle. The place was perfect for our family and the views were first-rate. We had a wonderful time.

This is a perfect example of the grand Edinburgh apartment! It's got views of the castle, lovely spacious and nicely decorated rooms, it's right in the middle of town and yet is still nice and quiet. Two of the bedrooms are en-suite which isn't always a given with properties of this age. The location is great, everything's walkable and since basically every bus route in Edinburgh goes through nearby Princes St it's easy to get onto public transport as well. The hosts are very proactive with their instructions and we got in & out no problem. The flat is very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Yes it's up a couple of flights of stairs but very manageable and Edinburgh doesn't do period properties with lifts. Definitely recommend, we'd go back again.

Just what we needed
We stayed in this lovely flat as a family of 6. The location of the apartment is not far from the Royal Mile and has stunning castle views. There is just a quick walk to coffee, some bars/restaurants and the hop on/hop off bus line. Additionally, the location is perfect for those visiting the Tattoo. We enjoyed a seamless process with luggage via unbagged, a third party service, as we arrived well before the check in time. The service allowed us to tour the city and meet up with luggage early that evening. The apartment was clean and the listing was as expected, tastefully decorated and comfortable.

This was a uniquely wonderful place to stay. With unrivalled views of the castle and absolutely beautiful rooms, this place fully lived up to all our expectations from the photographs. The beds were thoroughly comfortable, every room was clean and tidy, and we didn't hear the slightest sound from outside. This location is quite walkable with shops and restaurants nearby, and the castle itself well within walking distance. The stairs are no joke when arriving with suitcases or after a long day in Edinburgh, but as long as you know what you're getting into they're perfectly manageable. Note there are no USB ports in bedrooms (but there are of course plug sockets) so coming prepared with USB chargers is essential for devices.

What a gem of a place! First, the views of the castle were priceless. We are first timers here in Edinburgh so we were dazzled. We couldn’t believe our eyes! The flat itself is incredibly spacious, designed beautifully, appointed with everything you’d need and so very comfortable. It’s perfect for 3 couples or a family with its 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. We couldn’t believe the kitchen size and appointments. So great! Second, the location is incredible! You can get to the castle or Princes street in minutes. Central, easy and convenient to everything. Finally, to me, what makes a good AB&B is the hosts or property managers. Daisy and her team were so lovely to work with! Quickly questioned answers and plenty of resources if we needed anything (which we didn’t because everything was great!). Thanks to you all! We will be back!

Although the place is older, that is why I selected it. It had great charm. A few blocks’ walk to Edinburgh Castle, or a few blocks to the trams. We felt safe and enjoyed the walking (although the route we took had a slight incline). Not many restaurants around, but it is right around the corner from Dean Village. My daughter loved the little curtained snook area upstairs and slept there one night.

Great Stay
Great location and property. Saturday Farmer’s Market just across the street! My only suggestion for improvement - as a premium/luxury priced property, I would expect a nice selection of shampoo, soaps, etc. however none were provided. In addition similarly priced properties will typically include a small welcome basket, bottle of wine or similar. Not necessary or a deal breaker but a nice touch and competitive properties are doing this. Overall, a great property and would gladly recommend.

We have stayed in some amazing Airbnb locations all over the world and this is definitely one of my favorites! The apartment is very spacious for a family and was decorated beautifully. If we are ever back in town, we will definitely book it again!

A family of six, we just had the most magical and memorable time staying here. Wonderful views in all of the big tall windows, especially of the Castle. Impeccably clean and great bathrooms. The location was quiet and a perfect distance away from everything. Bus stops right outside if needed, two train stations a quick cab ride away with luggage (Waverly or Haymarket) tons of grocery shops nearby. A cafe and two pubs literally 60 second walk around the corner, alongsideamazing Thai place, loaded fry place etc everything you could need! Only suggestion is to make sure you bring your own soaps and shampoos for the bathrooms.

We were very happy with this choice for our family. It worked very well and we were relieved that cot and high chair were both ready and waiting for us when we got there. We arrived in the middle of the night and entering was smooth and easy. Kitchen was fully equipped with nice appliances and all in all it was perfect!

The Castle Terrace apartment is amazing. The apartment is very clean, quiet, and comfortable. It was a gift to be able to stay in the apartment. The location is convenient and the view from the apartment windows spectacular. We loved this place she and look forward to returning. 5 stars.

Spacious, grand flat in the heart of Edinburgh. Great local restaurants and coffee shops a few minutes walking, and 10 min walk to the Royal Mile. Views of the castle are stunning as described. Communication with property managers was very good and helpful. Highly recommended!

"If I could write this higher, I would! The design of the apartment was unbelievable!"

The decor , design details & location were perfect ! Spotlessly clean- everything you could possibly need was provided. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. Remember - that it is on the third floor and there is no lift, the spiral staircase can be a little bit tricky, but it is well worth the trouble. The location is absolutely perfect – the view of the castle from the master bedroom and the living area is unbelievable. This location is perfect to walk to every part of the city. I would love to live here - in this apartment!

Beautiful apartment at great location with amazing view of castle. A real plus with Farmers' Market across street on Sat + Wagamama down the street. Hatty was amazing and even arranged car service to pick us up at St Andrews. Will definitely return and use Efinburgh Address again!
