The Kennels is situated at the end of a private road on Finzean Estate, once the home of Joseph Farquharson, the Victorian landscape painter. This beautiful cottage is just off the South Deeside road, midway between Banchory and Aboyne. It has spectacular, uninterrupted views across the Feugh valley to Clachnaben.
The accommodation consists of a spacious and light, open plan sitting, dining and kitchen area with cathedral ceiling and french doors to the front garden and patio area. There is also a wood burning stove for cooler evenings. The two bedrooms, one double and one twin, have ample fitted wardrobes. There is a shower room adjacent to the twin bedroom and the double bedroom has an en-suite shower room. The Kennels is well appointed with an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is also a radio, television, DVD player, payphone and free WiFi. A garden table and chairs are provided on the open patio area which has spectacular views across the valley to the hills beyond. The cottage is fully equipped with a wood burning stove and biomass central heating.
